Preparing for a busy August! Pull out your calendar and plan a date (or a few) because it is going to be a month to remember.
Swing & Sway August 2nd. We have moved to monthly dances held the first Wednesday of each month. Complimentary beginner/refresher class, 6-6:45pm with purchase of social dance, 7-9pm for just $8.
* Dance style is East Coast Swing/Lindy Hop and our teachers Ryan and Haddi are so talented, patient and fun.
* Whether you are coming solo, duo, first date, 569th date or with a group of friends it’s a really enjoyable and memorable night.
* All ages.
* Dress casual or to the 9’s. Being a vintage shop we always encourage dressing up.
* Make sure to wear comfortable shoes with non-scuff soles since our ballroom floor is vintage 1969 when it was the Fred Astaire Studio.
* Room is fully air conditioned which is such a treat during the summer months.
* Enter through the shop, Most Everything Vintage – 815 Washington St. Shop will close at 8pm and exit will be at 109 W. 9th St.
* With prices increasing for ‘ALL THINGS BUSINESS’ we really appreciate cash for entrance/purchases. That said, if you don’t have cash we understand and you can use your debit/credit card.

LOCAL CREATIVES POP UP MARKET – First Friday August 4th – 6th. This will be held in our adjoining special event space The Valiant Ballroom where you can enter through the ‘Narnia Wardrobe’ through our shop or at venue entrance – 109 W. 9th St.

This is a really fun weekend as we celebrate the talents of local artists and creatives including our very own Danielle who sews, mends and helps with our social media images. Excited for you to see her newest collection of up-cycled men’s vintage blazers transformed into a cropped blazer and mini skirt. Danielle will also have an assortment of totes made from re-cycled materials including 70’s crochet blankets.
In our shop you will discover other local talents:
Humblebug Jewelry and Kasteel Jewelry (made by our own Leslie who works Sundays and Mondays) – All made with up-cycled vintage and antique pieces.
Jahna Vashti ~ local artisan creating the cutest whimsical animal images within cards and stickers.

MAD ABOUT PLAID – August 13th
I was trying to figure out how many years we have been doing this event. It has moved from just a date where the shop is transformed into ‘all things vintage fall’ when the temperatures started to become the PNW dream of cool nights, foggy mornings, cooler days with a crisp in the air and…. THE FALL COLORS that appear.
This event started in October 2012 and over the years has moved to the 2nd Sunday in August where it has been for the last 6 years.
If you haven’t been to this event here is the gist…
We stay up very late to change over the shop to ‘ALL THINGS FALL.’ It’s a looooonnnnngg night but one that I look forward to each year as we fill the shop with 1000+ vintage wool, plaid, tweed, coats, sweaters and accessories.
WANT FIRST PICK????
This is a TICKET ONLY private event. We only allow FIVE people per hour starting at 11am and you must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are $10 each, available August 1st at 10am and fully refunded back to you day of event with your purchase.
We have had more private estates this year than any year past which means this will be our best fall collection ever.
HOW TO GET A TICKET
August 1st (Tuesday) we will be posting on Instagram and Facebook with a link at 9:55am -OR- you can text/call the shop 360-449-2130 starting at 10am. If you are old-school like me you can also come by in person.
If you are unable to attend that day just know we will have plenty for you to look at and try on in the days to follow the event. We look forward to hopefully seeing you soon!
