As the years go by our unique shop expands. We are growing our ‘vintage lifestyle’ products and are so excited for our holiday gift selection this year! For all our owl lovers out there you are going to enjoy your next visit. Our goal is to become your one-stop-shop for vintage wearable and usable’s. We have added to our lineup of incredible local creators along with artisans from Canada, United Kingdom and throughout the US.
I started making a list of ALL our local artisan creations that we carry in our shop. WOW! Over the past few years we have added some incredible European companies (lotions, soaps, cologne, socks), local artisan creations, plus…. all the items I create for the store. The North Pole (back room of the shop) has been very busy this year! As of today we have made 3950 masks!

I love to make items for the shop. With every year comes more and more items. One of my many goals with my store is to throw as little away as possible and recycle what I can; fabrics, buttons, trim, jewelry pieces, etc. With my skills as a creative (thank you mom and dad!) and a little resourcefulness, I am very happy to showcase my ‘North Pole’ creations.
Masks for adults and kids…. along with neck bands & scrunchies
This has been a fun project especially when we can coordinate masks with scrunchies. It’s our newest accessory so might as well have some fun with it while staying safe. We have over 50 different designs available in the shop along with Christmas and Winter designs. It has been a challenge to keep enough sewn since we are open seven days a week. I have an array of prints cut into panels. You can go through my pile and place an order giving you more options.
Adult masks are $10 each/ 3 for $25. Kids masks are $8 each/ 2 for $15. Made with 3-layers of cotton and a pocket inside just in case you want to add an extra layer of protection or filter. Elastic is super soft and stretchy. Your ears will thank you!

SCRUNCHIES have been a fun way to use up my extra material. $5 each or 3 for $12. Makes for great stocking stuffers!
MASK NECK BANDS have been a game changer for me. Allows me to always have my mask close by. When you get into the car or go out to eat you can just pull it off your ears and rest on your chest. Many are made from up-cycled vintage jewelry. $10-$18
Mask Misters and Oils
The first day I had to wait in line at the post office, wearing a mask, I realized that the onions and garlic I had for lunch did not create a pleasant breathing aroma. I had been wanting to create my own proprietary scents for roll-on cologne and candles. I decided that the first phase of this project would be for Mask Misters and Mini Oils. Misters can be sprayed directly into the mask or used as a room or body spray. Mini oils are pure essential oil blends. Place a drop onto the mask or use as a cologne.
I currently have five scents. Each has its own owl personality.
Dexter the Spectacled Owl – Peppermint and Sweet Lemon
Thaddeus the Great Grey Owl – Sandalwood, Cypress and Vanilla
Lady Lavanda the Saw-Whet Owl – Lavender, Peppermint and Vanilla
Jack the Spotted Wood Owl – Pine, Bergamot, Lemon & Siberian fir
Rosie the Elf Owl – Rose, Cardamom and Pine

Our Owls Nest Proprietary Candles
I have always wanted to create my own line of candles. Creating the mask sprays pushed me to do so. For those who have loved our mask, room and body sprays, you are going to LOVE these candles. Teamed up with our local candle maker Vance Family Soy Candles and local tattoo artist, Classy Lass Lilith who created the owl images. This is phase one of the candles. Packaging will change as we move forward. Tins $6.95 (10+ hours) and glass jars $18.95 (50+ hours).
Phone Scarves: I started creating these about four years ago for Christmas season and sold out quick! I wanted to create a scarf that gave you style, warmth and purpose. This gives you all three! A scarf that keeps you warm around the neck, stylish in its many designs and fibers and a pocket for your phone, passport or wallet! Perfect for going out on a walk or slipping under a classic coat or blazer.
Due to limited sewing time this year I was only able to make 12 for this season. A great, unique gift made right in our shop! $38 – $42 each.
The pocket gives you an extra space for a little extra gift if you wish!
Bow Ties: I love that I get to sell these throughout the year. A great way for me to up-cycle bottoms of knickerbocker creations or skirt and dress alterations. Each are limited to one or two from each fabric. All are made from above our shop and with all the vintage buttons we can find. Each one is sized giving a plus one and minus one inch for the neck. Once it is sized for the neck, there is a clip on the front for easy attachment. Standard gentlemen bowties $45. Bow ties for our little dapper (toddler) gents ($20)
20’s headpieces and headbands
I love making these festive pieces. Have made 100’s over the past few years. Each unique piece has a substantial hair clip that can be worn alone or with one of my headbands. Clips range from $18 – $48 and headbands are $15 ea.

Cannot say enough about this incredible product. Made here in beautiful Vancouver USA by the lovely Amy Meacham Vance. Vance Family Soy Candles is an all-natural product made of soy, organic essential oils (no synthetic fragrances) and cotton wicks. Fleur Chocolatte: Love chocolate? We have an incredible chocolate shop just 4 blocks up the street from our shop. 2018 they were voted as ‘BEST’ chocolate shop in the state of Washington.
Excited to carry their peanut butter sandwiched graham crackers dipped in dark chocolate, and owl chocolates through Valentines day. If you haven’t tasted the chocolate from Fleur Chocolatte, you haven’t tasted some of the best around! What we carry is just a small sampling of what they make. At their location (1304 Main Street) they have all kinds of gift box options.
Hats by Linda
Such fun, locally made stocking hats by Linda. Many different color options along with a few that have a hole in the top for a pony-tail or hair bun. $20 each.
Fun story about this product… Linda loves to crochet and to give. All the money she makes from selling hats at our shop along with one other boutique gives her the funds to buy yarn to crochet 100+ hats to give to infants in the NICU and unhoused people throughout the colder months. Your dollars spent gives warmth to someone in need!

Dapper Man Pomade

Lotion – We brought in this product from France two years ago and they have become an incredible addition to our shop. Wonderful lotions with added shea butter. Incredible combinations of scents that will last you all day long. $12-$25

This French made product for our gents is incredible. Masculine fragrance with a peppery, citrus top note rounded by woody cedar wood, juicy plum and violet leaves that finish into an ambery base of leather and tobacco.

My Socks (Italy)
So excited for our collection of SOCKS from Italy!!!! Honored to carry #mysocks in the shop. 80% cotton in over-the-knee, knee-heigh (for all my knickerbocker lovin’ guys and gals) and dress socks. They have great stretch while staying put on your leg. Fun patterns and colors $12-$15.

Owning and operating a small business is a lot of work. I would say that every week I work between 60-80 hours. Yes, it’s work….. but I love it and am blessed to do what I love!
