For those of you have been following us over the last 6 years, you understand our love for all things wool and plaid. This last Monday we did our annual ‘Mad about Plaid’ shoot…. with up to 5 layers of plaid! So thankful for a cooler morning and a location close to the shop. Our concept was more of a ‘back to school’ theme so thought it important to bring in two new local peeps who have never modeled before giving the images a more stoic feel. The last two years we have gone with a more classic 40’s-50’s feel and this year wanted to go with a more editorial ‘true-to-plaid’ shoot. Both Emma and Cobalt were amazing. So excited for you to see the photos! That being said, I am excited to see them too.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR AUGUST 21ST!
We did this special event last year and it was a blast! A great day to give our regular customers a special day of first picks. Basically, my elves come in the evening of the 20th and over night we transform the store to all things ‘fall.’. On Sunday the 21st, the only way you can get in the door is with a ticket.Tickets are FREE and given out in our shop starting August 16th where you sign up for a time slot between 11am and 8pm. Only 5 people are allowed in per hour to get first pick of all the wonderful treasures we have been storing away over the last 6 months. To give our special event a vintage Lawrence Welk touch (you are true vintage if you know who I am talking about) we are serving mimosa’s morning/afternoon and bubbles at night.
