I am so fortunate to be surrounded by so many incredibly talented models, photographers, hair and make-up artists, car and property owners and multiple assistants. For each shoot, I try and seek our the perfect team for the decade or concept I am trying to portray. For some shoots I want a whimsical look, for others high-fashion but for this 40’s shoot I wanted to go romantic. My desire was for the viewer to want to crawl into the photograph and be a part of the story. A difficult challenge for a photographer but Mike did it! The pictures turned out amazing! As I started to view over 300 images I found it quite difficult to find my favorites because they were all so good. I think I have narrowed it down to my favorite 50 so here you go.

Many of these garments needed some love. It is a joy bringing something back to life. My reason for doing all of these photo shoots? My dream has been to breath new life into vintage clothing…to give these beautiful garments and accessory items another chapter to their story of life and, to bring creative people together to create ‘fashion art.’ Starting Friday Nov. 7th during Art Walk First Friday we will celebrate our first art installment from this shoot. With each consecutive month we will add one piece of canvas art from a themed shoot from the last two years and oh, what an amazing and creative two years these have been!
