Preserving the history of Downtown Vancouver

Kiggins Kickstarter poster

We absolutely love having a business in Downtown Vancouver and we are so thankful for our wonderful customers and neighboring businesses. There is a historical landmark that needs some help – The Kiggins Theatre. Captain Dan and his family have poured their blood, sweat, tears and wallet into the amazing place. Due to the changes in the industry, film is being converted to digital which means that theatre houses have to convert in order to continue playing movies. Downtown Vancouver needs The Kiggins Theatre for the many generations to come.
The Kiggins has initiated a ‘Kickstarter’ program and they have one month to raise $85,000.00 for this conversion. Here is how we, Most Everything Vintage, would like to help. Over the last couple of years we have built a collection of newer, non-vintage items and we thought this would be a great time to bring them out. For one week only, Tues. July 30th – Sunday August 4th, we will be selling these name-brand (Diesel jeans, Evan Picone, Juicy Couture, J. Jill, Marc Jacobs, and so many more) ladies clothes. Proceeds from the sale of these ladies clothes (look for the Kiggins rack) will go to The Kiggins Kickstarter fund. I believe that together, we can raise $1,000! Due to the special events downtown this weekend; Art Walk First Friday and Art in the Heart Friday evening, 5-9pm and Saturday 9-4 along with Sip and Stroll  on Saturday, 5-9pm, we will be open until at least 9pm both Friday and Saturday.

I woud like to give a special ‘thank-you’ to Joan and James who donated a large portion of clothes for this sale. Their wish was that they would be used for something great. and I believe this cause is a ‘great’ one.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
