Last June, we were asked to join up for a vintage themed photo shoot at Perkins Ferry. Many of you know that I have been making fascinators (hair flowers with feathers, vintage pieces and veiling) to have in the shop. It has been so much fun custom making these for brides, bridal parties, red hat ladies and prom gals and then having an assortment in the shop for anyone who might need something ‘fascinating’ for everyday wear or a special event. It has been a royal privilege knowing that models and actresses from Vancouver to New York have worn these. I am truly honored! It was only natural to then start working with vintage hats that have lost their love… giving them new love and another chance at being worn and adored.
